Alexandra Brown

Alexandra Brown is Founder and CEO of Ethical Invest Group, facilitator of the Sustainable Investing Plan course for individual investors, and co-founder of the sustainable finance library, Altiorem. Alexandra specialises in helping investors, advisers, and finance professionals get confident with aligning money to values and magnifying their impact towards a sustainable future.

Dr Rodger Spiller

Dr Rodger Spiller is a world renowned expert in ethical investing. He has researched and written about this field for over four decades. Rodger has played an active role in the Australian industry since 1988 and is considered as “undoubtedly the father of ethical investing in New Zealand”.

Rodger was the Inaugural winner of both the NZ Financial Planner of the Year award and the NZ Ethical Advisor of the Year award – the only advisor to win both awards. His personal investment advisory business Money Matters aims to help ethical investors make sure their money matters.

Karen McLeod

Karen McLeod is a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP) at Ethical Investment Advisers having specialised in the area for almost 18 years. After a decade at traditional financial planning firms, she realised her passion for helping clients invest in alignment with their values. Karen has been recognised as one of the 50 most influential advisers by Financial Standard and served on the Board of the Responsible Investment Association Australasia. She is a member of the Financial Planning Association and previous Chair of the Ethical Advisers' Co-operative. Based in Brisbane, she enjoys yoga, swimming, trail running, and family time with her husband, children, and two border collies.

Justin Medcalf

Justin Medcalf is a Financial Adviser at Australia’s oldest ethical and impact investment advisory practice, Ethinvest, having worked in the financial planning industry since 2004.

After founding an ethical investment advisory firm in 2008, he joined forces with Ethinvest and 10 other practices to establish the Ethical Advisers’ Co-op, before launching Australia’s first responsible investment-dedicated investment platform. 

Justin is the former Head of Innovation (Wealth) at Bendigo Bank and spent most of the last decade on the board of the peak ethical and responsible investment (RI) industry body, RIAA. During this time, he helped shape the mainstreaming of RI through the globally recognised Certification Program.
